MOTHER MAYHEW LIVE

When production started, the band had been practicing for a while but had only come up with two songs. Even those were only half written. Mother Mayhew made it a point not to plan or rehearse any of the music or lyrics before filming began, which was part of the fun.  The result was more of a shock to the band than to anyone else; it actually didn't suck! In fact, the music is one of the film's most charming qualities, not to mention the many fantastic musicians that lent their talent to the film, some of whom you will find on the soundtrack.
